Highlights
• Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) is efficacious to treat obstructive sleep apnea (OSAS) in Parkinson disease (PD).
• CPAP is often not well tolerated in patients with PD.
• Mandibular advancement device (MAD) improves sleep in patients with PD and OSAS.
• MAD reduces apnea /hyponea and desaturation indexes in patients with PD and OSAS.
• MAD is easier to use and better tolerated than CPAP in patients with PD and OSAS.
